Our Wedding!

We just celebrated our first Anniversary, so I thought it fitting to share photos of our Wedding Day!  I spent a lot of time planning the Wedding, and handmade most of the decorations and details.  I was thrilled with the end results, and the whole day was just perfect.

Here is a photo gallery of the event!

Entryway

Our entryway is small, and was in need of a nice piece of furniture and a little pop of color.  We went garage sale-ing in search of that perfect piece… and ended up scoring this beauty!

Buffet - Before 01 copy

I loved the shape of this buffet, and the scale was just perfect for our tiny space.  We bought and brought it home, and then the fun began!

I removed all of the hardware and scrubbed it clean.  Using a medium-grit sanding block and spray primer, I prepped the surface for paint.  I applied two coats of finish paint, sanding lightly between coats, and re-installed the hardware.   I absolutely love the result!

Welcome Home!

My husband and I rented an adorable little town-home after we were married last year.  My first order of business – the front door!  I wanted to create a colorful wreath to brighten up the entry and welcome all of our friends and family into our new home.  I LOVE the color green, so it was a no-brainer to figure out where to start.

Front Door Wreath 03 copy

Supplies included:
a stick wreath
a thin MDF letter ‘L’
1 bunch of white hydrangea silk flowers
1 bunch of purple hydrangea silk flowers

After a little TLC from my green spray paint and hot glue gun, this wreath was ready to go!
